Recent Happenings
Our immense thanks to Elvira Hernandez and Florencia Colella who spoke to our Labor Day gathering about the experiences of immigrants and migrant labor! We are so appreciative for their grace, experience and ability to communicate on these important topics. Thanks also to George Hartwell for serving as Emcee, Fine Feathered Friends (Patrick, Steve & Tom) for the awesome music, and everyone who made the day a massive success.
Over 100 community members showed up to the Labor Day event to express their support of our immigrant friends and relatives. Migrant work keeps our families fed and creates strong communities.
We raised over $2000 for Migrant Legal Aid and many boxes of supplies for migrant workers.
